SUMMER 2016 HONORS & AP ENGLISH SUMMER READING

The Brea Olinda English Department encourages all of our students to be active readers throughout the summer. Students need to be ready to discuss and write about a novel the first week of school.

Honors Literature & Composition I (incoming ninth graders):

Honors Literature & Composition II (incoming tenth graders):
Be ready for your reading comprehension to be assessed on one of the following books the first week of school:

AP EUROPEAN HISTORY SUMMER 2016

Welcome to the AP European History Summer Assignment. Students will be asked to do one assignment per week in the summer. These assignments are designed to prepare students for the first unit of our course, The Renaissance. The assignments will include readings, videos, and writing short answer paragraphs.

All assignments will be done and turned in onclassroom.google.com

Week 8 Due August 12 Write one paragraph of at least 5 sentences answering this question. Contrast ONE piece of Art from the Italian Renaissance with ONE piece of art from the Northern Renaissance.
