Dear Wildcat Families,
LAST CALL FOR SUMMER SCHOOL: This message is a reminder that the deadline to turn in signed and completed summer school paperwork for the Orange County Department of Education’s ACCESS or Pacific Coast High School summer school programs isWednesday, May 11th by 3:00 p.m.! All families who believe their student may need to remediate a D or F from a past semester, or for this current spring semester, should have their student see their counselor immediately for summer school paper work.
BOHS Guidance Department
Although summer school classes are not offered at BOHS, there are a variety of options from outside providers for those students needing to recover credit or wanting to improve a “D” grade for required coursework. A list of 2016 summer school options is available below.
Each summer school provider has its own course offerings and schedule in addition to registration process and deadlines; nevertheless, our guidance counselors are here to help! Students must consult with their guidance counselor as soon as possible regarding course selection and which summer school provider would best meet their needs. Any required forms must be returned as soon as possible to maximize course availability. Please note if students are currently in danger of failing a class for the second semester, they must register with a summer school provider now rather than waiting for final grades to post.
