ACTIVITIES & CLUBS ON CAMPUS

Clubs

Brea Olinda High School wants students to be actively engaged and connected to their learning through involvement in school athletics, co-curricular, and extra-curricular activities.  Research shows that students who are actively engaged in school activities have better attendance and earn higher grades.  Connected students learn more, retain more, and enjoy learning more.  In addition, involvement in school is a great way for students to make friends, learn teamwork, develop responsibility, and enhance college and scholarship applications.  For these reasons, we provide a wealth of opportunities for students to expand their horizons.

While some groups are composed of selected students, most clubs welcome all students to participate. We encourage students to get involved in the extra-curricular activities offered. A listing of club meeting days and times is available in the Activities Office.  To be chartered as a club on campus, a club must have an ASB approved constitution and by-laws as well as an on-campus staff advisor.  Clubs are required to have their advisor present at all meetings and events held by the club.  All dates for school, club, sports or class functions (including banquets) must be scheduled in advance on the school master calendar through the Activities Office in order to avoid conflicts.

The following clubs and student groups are recognized and allowed to meet, provided they draw enough members and meet constitutional requirements of the ASB Executive Council:
