Welcome to the Brea Olinda PTSA! Our PTSA welcomes all students and families who wish to join and help support our school through your dues and your donations. The BOHS PTSA knows that our families are busy so we take a low-key approach to fundraising. The money that we raise is generally used to buy technology upgrades and equipment, fund senior scholarships, and buy library books for our school. We raise money in the following ways:
- Membership Dues—half of our $10 annual dues goes toward programs and expenses.
- Donations—anyone can make a donation to our PTSA and we will put all money directly to support the projects listed above.
- Ink Cartridges—we collect used ink cartridges and turn them in for money.
- Food Trucks—support our food truck fundraiser at back to school night.
We welcome everyone to our meetings. We currently meet on the 1st Wednesday of every month starting in October 2016 at 8:30 a.m. in the large conference room just off the school office. This year, Mrs. Flanders and Mrs. Derian are co-presidents of BOHS PTSA. We welcome anyone who wishes to help us out. Again, we understand that our parents are busy, so we strive to keep the demands of our PTSA board light. Mr. Halpin generally attends all meetings and offers us insight on the goings on at BOHS. It is a nice small group setting to discuss the issues facing our school. Please join us!
