Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports

Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports is an evidence-based, tiered framework used in schools to improve school culture and student behavior by promoting positive social, emotional, and academic outcomes. PBIS focuses on creating a positive and safe learning environment for all students.

At Brea Olinda High School, we embody this system through our WILD program.  WILD stands for:
  • Work With Purpose
  • Initiate Positive Change
  • Lead By Example
  • Demonstrate Personal Responsibility

The Staff at BOHS recognize students through these positive actions by handing out WILDcards and through 5-Star Students.  Students can earn WILDcards or points for having good attendance, participating in/going to events, or general display of WILD behaviors on campus.
