My Background
I have been at BOHS since the "new school" opened for its second year - September 1990. In that time, my role has varied but my commitment to the students, staff & community of Brea has not. We are a unique and special community and I feel privileged to be part of it. Regardless of content area, my goal is to help our students develop their knowledge and skills to become the best versions of themselves while setting them up for future success.
My educational background: I majored in mathematics at the University of Michigan, where I also competed as a member of the varsity women's cross country team. Along with my personal running experiences, I have taken courses and attended conferences in training methods and techniques, nutrition and sports psychology. I began working with activities in 2003 and attend the OCL camp and CADA state conference annually and meet regularly with activities directors county wide to bring new ideas and best practices back to BOHS. I also have a master's degree in educational administration and have 13 years of experience in high school administration.
We are a family of wildcats! My two oldest children are BOHS graduates and my youngest son is headed to BOHS in a few years. My husband teaches math at BOHS and coaches cross country and track & field. We love being part of the wildcat family!
