Mrs. Bhakta's Classroom
Welcome!
This is my 17th year working as a high school special educator with it being the start of my 11th school year at BOHS. Five years prior to becoming a teacher, I worked with children in a group home setting/foster care. I have worked with diverse groups of students and spent five years of my career creating and implementing a very specialized and individualized program that met the most special circumstances and needs of multiple districts and their students. My skills in differentiated instruction, multi-sensory lessons, overall classroom management, and understanding different personalities allow me to meet the needs of students I am privileged to work with.
I graduated from California State University of Fullerton with a major in Psychology, minor in Mathematics, and Masters in Special Education.
One of my passions is teaching math and I am excited to be teaching SAI Algebra 1A and SAI Algebra 1B this year.
