Save the Date - Parenting in a Digital World Parent Education Night

Save the Date! Brea Olinda Unified School District is excited to bring Brea families another parent night on a very important topic: "How to Parent in a Digital World." The parent night will take place on Thursday, December 12, 2019 from 6-7:30 p.m. in the auditorium at Brea Junior High. Additional information can be found on the attached flyer.

PSAT- 10/30

The PSAT will be held on Wednesday, October 30th for all 10th and 11th-grade students, absolutely FREE! October 30th will be a minimum day for ALL students. Please see our minimum day schedule on the websites for times. Freshmen and Seniors will still report to normal classes on the minimum day schedule. See the flyer for more information and be sure to be on the look out for emails with additional information!

Link Crew Tailgate

All freshmen students are invited to attend the Link Crew Tailgate on Friday, 10/4 for games, pizza, snow cones, and a chance to win a free ticket to the Homecoming dance on 10/19! All freshmen that attend the event will receive a wristband for free admission into the football game. Students must bring their ID to participate.

Parent Education Series: School Safety 9/24

Please mark your calendars: BOUSD is partnering with the Brea Police Department and the Brea Fire Department to host an important community meeting on the topic of School Safety, Preparedness and Prevention. The event will take place on Tuesday, September 24 at 6pm in the Brea Olinda High School in the Performing Arts Center.

Young Leaders Program

The Young Leaders Program is designed for high school juniors and seniors who reside in the 4th Supervisorial District, which includes the cities of Brea, Fullerton, La Habra, Placentia, and portions of Anaheim and Buena Park. Future Leaders attend a mandatory monthly meeting where they are exposed to experiences that nurture their leadership potential and prepare them for their future in college and/or the work force. The program provides students with firsthand experience and better understanding of how County government works. More information and the application for the Young Leaders Program can be found below.
