Principal's Message
Wildcats~
It is an honor to serve the students and the community of Brea Olinda High School as your principal for the 2024-2025 school year. I am excited to join the staff at BOHS and learn about all the wonderful customs and traditions that go into being a Wildcat! I’ve spent over 50 years living next door in Placentia and I did my student teaching in the last year of the “old” BOHS campus on Birch across the street from the mall. Since then, I have taught social science and been an administrator at several different high schools.
I am already impressed by the staff, the campus and the wealth of programs and opportunities at BOHS. It truly seems like there is something for everyone. The seven career related pathways are exciting and I cannot wait to see them all in action, as well as our partnerships with NOCROP, Fullerton College, and others within the greater community. Athletics is a personal love of mine. In fact, I coached softball at BOHS for three years before starting my teaching career. I hope to see the Wildcats compete in the pool, the court, and the field over the course of the year.
As we near the 100 year mark for Brea Olinda High School, I hope we can continue to build on the legacy that surrounds us. I look forward to meeting you soon!
