Brea Olinda High School offers award-winning academic programs, championship athletics, vibrant performing arts, and cutting-edge CTE pathways, empowering students in grades 9-12 to pursue their passions and achieve excellence academically, socially, and emotionally.

Academics and Programs

Advanced Placement Program (AP)

The AP Program currently offers more than 35 courses across multiple subject areas. Each course is developed by a committee composed of college faculty and AP teachers, and covers the breadth of information, skills, and assignments found in the corresponding college course.

AP Capstone Diploma Program

The AP® Capstone Diploma program is an innovative program that encourages students to develop skills for college and career success, including critical thinking, research, collaboration, and communication. The program includes two year-long courses taken in sequence–AP Seminar and AP Research.

Athletics

Brea Olinda High School boasts a vibrant and competitive athletics program that encourages students to excel both on and off the field. With a strong tradition of sportsmanship, teamwork, and achievement, the program offers a wide variety of sports to cater to diverse interests and talents.

Career Technical Education Pathways (CTE)

BOHS offers seven CTE pathways combining rigorous academic learning with practical project-based courses integrating real world applications of knowledge and skill. Career pathways are composed of hands-on CTE courses taught by industry experts in engaging learning environments. The seven pathways include:

Visual and Performing Arts

Brea Olinda High School’s Performing Arts program is a dynamic and thriving part of the school’s culture, offering students numerous opportunities to explore and showcase their creative talents. The program encompasses a wide range of disciplines, including theater, choir, band, orchestra, and dance, each led by dedicated instructors passionate about nurturing students' artistic growth.

Dual Enrollment and Preparing Graduates for Success

In addition to the outstanding programs listed above, the Wildcat family proudly boasts a 99% graduation rate with 99% of graduates college and career-bound. 

BOHS partners with Fullerton College to offer a variety of dual enrollment options where students can earn college credit while still in high school.
